Hold That in Claude

The connector · September 30, 2026

Add Hold That to Claude and Claude can see your days — the same Today, the same Coming up, the same lists your phone shows — and hold a thought for you, put it on a day, or tick it done. Nothing moves to a new place: Claude reads and writes the same account the app does, signed in as you.

Connecting

1. In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector.

2. Name it Hold That and paste this address:

https://hold-that-connector.49g5j87tzk.workers.dev/mcp

3. Tap Connect. You’ll be sent to holdthatapp.com to sign in with your Hold That account — the same email and password as the app. Sign in once; Claude remembers.

You need a Hold That account first. Hold That is invite-only for now; ask for an invite.

What Claude can see

Today — the line under the date, your focus, your every-day lists with today’s ticks, the day’s things, what came back, what ended today.

Coming up — the days ahead with everything each thing wears: time, place, rings, tags, facts, whether it came from a calendar.

Looking back — what Went, what you answered Didn’t, a tracker’s days, what you deleted. Reported, never scored.

Capture, Lists, counters, pictures — each as the app shows it, and any picture a thing wears.

Everything — your whole account as data, every row and every column, including when you entered each thing. For questions the app’s views don’t answer.

What Claude can do

Hold a thought (into Capture, or straight onto a day or a list). Mark a thing Went or Didn’t, or undo that. Move a thing between Capture, a day, a list and the Library. Change what a thing wears — its words, day, time, place, tags, facts, repeat, reminders. Make a list. Put a list on a day.

There is no delete. Deleting stays a two-tap act on your phone. If Claude can’t do something, it says so in words rather than doing something else.

Things to ask

“What’s on my Today?” · “What do I have coming up that I need to prepare for?” · “What did I get done this week?” · “When did I enter the thing about the dentist?” · “Hold this: call the pharmacy, Friday at 3.” · “Show me the picture on my train ticket.”

Disconnecting

In Claude, Settings, then Connectors, remove Hold That. Claude’s access ends there; nothing in your account changes. Signing out of the app on your phone doesn’t affect the connector, and the connector can’t sign you out of your phone.

If something’s off

“Not signed in” — remove the connector and add it again; the sign-in is asked once more.

Claude’s Today doesn’t match the phone — the phone may not have synced yet. Open the app, wait a moment, ask again. If it still differs, tell us what each one shows.

A thing Claude added isn’t on the phone — same answer: the phone picks it up on its next sync, usually when you open the app.

Privacy

The connector reads and writes your own account and nothing else. It keeps no copy: every question is answered fresh from your account and forgotten. What Claude does with what it reads is governed by your Claude settings. The rest is in our privacy page.
